My name is Katherine Alber —

I am the Social Media Coordinator for SESCO Lighting, Inc. and a 2022 Marketing graduate of Clemson University—currently located in Greenville, SC.

I recently completed my time at Clemson with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, which also included heavy coursework in sales, branding, social media, and business strategy.

Throughout my time in college, I had a very diverse set of jobs, all of which had given me unique skills and insight into the consumer experience. Whether it’s marketing a fashion designer, a hockey team, or a local pastry shop, I gained an understanding of who the business is, what their clients need, where they want to go, and how I can help them get there.

My whole life has been filled with different creative outlets—painting, design, photography, public speaking, etc. The one thing I have found to be the most fulfilling in each of those areas is the connection aspect. Connection to people. Connection to a feeling. That is what I will continue carrying on into my career: making connections with my clients that are purposeful and generate significant change.

In my current role with SESCO, I manage the comprehensive social media presence and digital marketing efforts for the entire Southeastern US, covering 26 total branch locations. And when I’m not working, I’m probably either photographing someone’s beautiful life event, writing excessively descriptive yelp reviews, sitting outside in the fresh air, doodling, or spending time with my friends and family.
